How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!
1 John 3: 1
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!
He is expiation for our sins, and not for our sins only but for those of the whole world.
...the Lord knows how to rescue the devout from trial and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment...
...He has bestowed on us the precious and very great promises, so that through them you may come to share in the divine nature, after escaping from the corruption that is in the world because of evil desire.
...be of one mind, sympathetic, loving toward one another, compassionate, humble. Do not return evil for evil, or insult for insult; but, on the contrary, a blessing, because to this you were called, that you might inherit a blessing.
May the LORD bless you from Zion, all the days of your life that you may share Jerusalem's joy and live to see your children's children.
We are not among those who draw back and perish, but among those who have faith and will possess life.
The LORD will guard you from all evil, will always guard your life. The LORD will guard your coming and going both now and forever.
I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commands.
...let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and to find grace for timely help.
The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
